New Farmsmith Release

A bottle of Copperworks Farmsmith American Single Malt Whiskey on a bar top in front of a window.

Farmsmith American Single Malt Whiskey was created to celebrate the barley fields of Washington by exploring the impact of single variety, single farm, and single growing year barley.

Our first Farmsmith release was distilled from Baronesse barley grown at Joseph’s Grainery in Colfax and malted by LINC Malt in Spokane. Crafted from eight casks, this Baronesse Farmsmith has had an exceptional run, taking gold at the 2025 American Craft Spirits Association Competition.

Today that whiskey is all gone, and we are excited to announce our new Farmsmith release.

The story begins with single varietal Genie Pale Malt from Coulee Hite farms in Reardan, Washington, which was malted by LINC Malt in Spokane. This barley comes from a unique hot dry zone just west of Spokane, and we’ve only ever managed to source it a single time in 2020. After distillation, this Farmsmith release was matured in four new American oak casks for five years and three months.

Tasting Notes

The nose opens with fresh butter leading into a harmonious blend of maple bar and cedar chest. On the palate, we find notes of coffee and cocoa nib mingling with cherry, orange creamsicle, and pineapple, on a foundation of graham cracker and vanilla. The finish brings a luxurious blend of leather, cinnamon stick, and black pepper, sweetened with a trace of toffee.

This new Genie Pale Malt Farmsmith is available now, order online or taste it today at either of our locations.
